The unaired pilot has basicly the same plot as the one that aired but with a few changes. Some scenes were re-shot with different actors playing the parts of Sookie and Dean. For these new scenes the current backlot was used for the Stars Hollow instead of the original set in Canada. Also a scene at the Inn with a maid was not included in the aired pilot. Other changes include different theme music and credits.
